About
I am part of HumanEra, a wonderful team of human factors specialists in North York General Hospital, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We use direct observations, simulations, interviews, focus groups and other methods to understand how the healthcare system is working, and how it can be improved. In particular, we are looking for ways to improve patient and staff safety, as well as healthcare efficiency and resilience.
Our methods are focused on capturing real world practice, rather than how work is imagined. We directly observe front line practice to see how organizational policies, workplace environments, technologies, culture and training meet. What people say, what people do, and what people say they do are rarely aligned - this discrepancy impedes the development of truly effective solutions.

I am also a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner™.
The short story: I can help guide your awareness to how you move. As a result, over time, you will notice that the way you move is intimately tied to the way you think/feel/sense about yourself.
Improve your movement, and you improve the processes by which you live your life.
I am open to exploring collaborations, such as occupational workshops to help professions with musculoskeletal injuries, stress etc., but am not currently running a private practice. Please use the Contact page to reach out with your inquiries.
